OK - that's not my desk, and after seeing that on Google Images, I didn't feel so bad. As you know, even if I could take a picture, I'm not sure how to get it into a jpeg format to post it.
One of my favourite all-time photo challenges was people's bookshelves. Can we possibly see your desk? Is the kitchen table your desk? Is the floor your desk? Home desk/workplace desk? Maybe the back of a turtle?
My desk, at the moment, is at a ground-level window. Outside is blue skies and wind blowing the tall palm trees and lush greenery.
Across the desk are postcards, files, journals, the wifi hub, a monkey lamp, Homer's Iliad, pens like the ones I sent insomniasexx, hubski stickers (some cut up), files, dental floss, Zen Flesh/Zen Bones -- but honestly, in this case, a picture is worth all of these words. Indulge me.
There's a photo challenge shoutout list - it's long and time is short.
I totally forgot to take a picture of my actual desk, but here is the other "type" of desk I use often. Pro-tip: when traveling remember to bring your wine key kids. It helps.
My side vs his side. I'll take a photo of my desk at some point. It's immaculate. Always. His desk was much much messier before he realized I would work at his house and hang out with him more if I had a space to set me shit.
Looks like Nic Cage is your right-hand man. Good choice.
wow… I did this… and it's embarrassing - but wow… this is a good motivation to clean it up a bit. Yes that's a cool standup/sitdown desk… but it's a data crunching day and I needed to sit. And YES that's a package for _refugee_ in the corner that I need to get around to sending and… wow… what a mess. If I didn't have a deadline today, I would already be cleaning. edit: wow… and yes - that's a Compaq Luggable and amazingly enough - it still works
ahhh… it's an article a friend of mine gave me. I actually found it online and posted it here a while ago. https://hubski.com/pub?id=183455
