It's all good. New link homey. Viva el player de piano! Nice catch btw :) You ARE the eyes in the sky!
Sometimes I like to listen to Mahavishnu Orchestra, but other times there is too much of what people I know call noodling in their music. I feel like this is noodling, rapid dense displays of technical, almost superhuman (or in this case superhuman) musicianship. It's like an orgasm that keeps on going, which may sound great to some, but becomes no orgasm at all when sustained. Gives the time to step out of the experience and see that it's just neurons firing away, manipulating me to feel a certain way, then I realize that I can feel anyway I want and the whole world looks like a dirty lump of senseless sensation.

Aye, it's not something I'd find very musically enjoyable. Still, a piano that plays itself is very cool.

The bionic musician: using midi to play acoustic instruments as though you have an unlimited number of appendages. -very cool. I think you can actually hear the recoil issue they mention in the piano part at the end but much like human error... computer error actually sounds cool. I really enjoyed watching this and more imortantly.. listening. Thanks, I want to learn more about Dan Deacon now.

a good place to start is here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_eMb_kh_glw
that's dan as a younger man, on a morning news show. i don't think they knew exactly what to think of his performance.
he's know for intimate live shows and extreme audience participation. he almost always plays not on stage but in the crowd and creates things like 'the human tunnel' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2v9A1MPLA4w
