I've recommended it a lot and nobody has ever disliked it. A fantastic read for anyone interested in the recording process, whether you're a beatles fan or not. But if you are a beatles fan, you get the added bonus of some great insight. For example: Yoko Ono gets up out of her bed in the Abbey Road recording studio (that's right, John installed a BED for her in the studio) and steals a biscuit that belongs to George Harrison. The Beatles are up in the control room looking down into the studio and Harrison sees Ono take the biscuit and yells"THAT BITCH !!! She's just taken one of my biscuits!" a fight between John and George ensues. The "biscuit incident", is the catalyst for the end imo.
Great read. Your boycott may be more fair than you know.
Great analogy. Unfortunately there was no Gandalf to rescue him. Should have been George Martin. Unfortunately, Phil Specter was the Sauran of the whole thing, evilly dismantling all of the great things the Beatles had worked for in the previous decade. Fuck, we're nerds. I'm gonna stop now.
