Anyone else get mail spam in their Hubski mail?
I got this message below just a few minutes ago from a user fatherjb. We can tolerate a bit of spam submission, since users can ignore whomever they want, but mail spam is not to be tolerated. Sorry if anyone else has to deal with this bullshit.

Throttling is what has made me leave a number of other forums, actually. During the "Great Cascade" of 119 days ago, I was undoubtedly excited and posting all over the place. Eventually things settled down and I don't feel as obligated to do so. Dust settling is the most important thing.
So far it hasn't been an issue. When/if it does become an issue, it something worth looking into. Targeting new accounts or accounts with a lot of mutes/ignores can help cut down on the annoyances things like captcha create for non-spammy users.
The idea seems to be that if you are smart enough to notice all the typos, you are not the target. Why Do Nigerian Scammers Say They are From Nigeria?Far-fetched tales of West African riches strike most as comical. Our analysis suggests that is an advantage to the attacker, not a disadvantage. Since his attack has a low density of victims the Nigerian scammer has an over-riding need to reduce false positives. By sending an email that repels all but the most gullible the scammer gets the most promising marks to self-select, and tilts the true to false positive ratio in his favor.
Spam offends me a lot less than most. I have my own URL and a number of spam traps (much more useful backintheday than now, but still useful) which means I see them coming and going in waves. Every morning, delete a couple hundred, move on. Life could certainly be worse. Although yeah. They need to step up their game.
