I heard Amyl and the Sniffers for the first time last week after finally looking up who Amy Taylor was after listening to this Sleaford Mods song for like a year.

Has to be one of the most physically distant collaborations ever. Makes me wonder how it came about.

Paraguay and Taiwan - the most physically distant countries I know of - need to pick their game up.

Would love to know if there are any further apart - maybe I'll scrape the site to find the biggest.

The distance from Spain's Madrid to New Zeland's Weber is 19997 km, which is the farthest I bothered looking. Though, I guess, if desperate and wanting to be pedantic even by internet standards, you could twiddle a bit and pick a point on a beach in Shanghai that's an exact antipode of still-Buenos Aires? But at that level of hax, you could just forego the pretence and use the audio from Apollo missions, claiming it was a NASA's spoken word colab.

But is it art?

I don't really trust those figures anyway but I was wondering if the equatorial bulge would work; Senegal / Vanuatu is getting close but it's no Weber / Madrid.
