I was watching this launch livestream with intense interest, although the volume was down for most of the last 20 minutes of the countdown because I was the flight director for one of our satellites at the time and we had to take a manual pass... what a wild few years it's been. I remember one of the more senior engineers on my team telling me to go follow them without really explaining what we were doing, and we suited up, and walked into the cleanroom where Crew Dragon Demo 1 (uncrewed test) and Crew Dragon Demo 2 (Hurley/Behnken) were being assembled. that really put a point on all the work I'd been doing there...
