Does"efficacious for six months" mean my shots from March will be less effective for me in another month? Is there any talk of boosters?

I think that's all the data they really have to this point. Although there are a few thousand people who were in the trials, the public writ large has only been getting vaccinated since January. I got my second dose on Jan 9, exactly 7 months ago, and I got my first dose two days after the vaccine was available off trial. So the data just aren't there. Right now, I think the booster talk is alarmist. The news needs to keep eyes on it, so they turn every unknown into an hours-long scarefest. I wouldn't be surprised if we end up with a yearly vaccine offering in the same way flu is available, but as they hone their dosing and chemistry, we shouldn't expect to see the major side effects that people have experienced this time around.
