I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
As much as this stuff is funny, it's worth remembering that these are extremes. It wouldn't be difficult to do the same at an Obama rally.
IMO there's a difference between highlighting the ignorance of actual candidates and politicians, and highlighting the ignorance of some supporters. The best candidate will still have some of the worst supporters.
That is what I thought when I saw this vid a few days ago. I see idiot Obama supporters on a daily basis. We hosted an Obama event at my work a few weeks ago (just profits, no endorsement) it was a difficult event. The Obamanites would stand at the bar with eager yearning looks on their faces, we would approach them and ask them what they would like to drink. They wanted nothing, they just liked to stand there and grip the bar with longing looks on their faces, it was somewhat creepy.
They had a popular black DJ working the event who played a very safe set of golden oldies (all your favorite hits from the 60's-today). The organizer (white lady) said some bigoted shit about how they were going to rock our white hipster bar in ways we had never seen with real black people. Some black people came, they ate a bunch of food, drank soda, and argued over how much their bill was like we were trying to rip em off. We have lots of black customers who conduct themselves like true classy bar goers everyday of the week, not just drinking soda, asking to hear modern hip-hop, and not bitching over fifty cents on their tab. Basically by the end of the night we wanted to beat down the true believers as cheap, difficult classless losers who didn't know how to conduct themselves like adults in adult environments. Pretty sure they don't represent the average Obama voter.
I'm guessing that most true believers are freaks. Anyone with a grain of sense is jaded enough to realize that your average candidate is someone you share enough points of view with to earn your vote, not the fucking messiah.
