Nah man, pretending like John Mayer isn't a legitimate guitarist and songwriter has ended poorly for at least 99 of 100 people. People are free to hate pop, but any artist writing their own content? Perhaps even especially a major artist still writing their own shit? I can't hate on that except for at a very low level. And most of that li'l' bitta hate might be reserved for "country music".
