It is first and foremost a way to watch your torrented vids on your Xbox/Playstation. It excels at that. Music is radically better than it was but they're definitely a video-forward platform. I support your music rental viewpoint. I give Tidal money for the principle reason that I'm discovering new music. I used to spend an easy $500/600 a year on music.
