but what were you avoiding? honestly - I don't know why you wouldn't keep this. I find it to be one of my favorites. excellent effects, atmospheric, vocals in your sweet spot. I really, really dig it
Glad you dig it. I feel like all my music these days is avoidance. Like I need to get to some truth. Strip everything away and just write a song with my guitar and my voice. That takes time though. It takes sitting with your instrument daily and letting it come to you. I haven’t done that in years. I don’t write songs these days, I make them. Someday.but what were you avoiding?
good question. I guess we will find out once we stop avoiding it.
I'm on my third time through... really. I think this one has more to offer than you give it credit for. It has a sense of place. I can't explain it. It just sounds good. It has great depth of sound. It's fun, but not too lighthearted. It just really resonates with me.
