Do it! I'm for sure supportive of anyone that has any spontaneous thoughts or things they want to share using the #scificlub tag.

Also, general question out of curiosity: who's read World War Z?

I started reading it once. Don't think I ever finished. Still have the copy though I think.

We have it and The Zombie Survival Guide. That book, WWZ, oddly holds a special place in our collection. It's the first book I bought while we were dating. You're now bound by the nebulous rules of spousal obligation to read it from cover to cover.

Mmmm hm. I'll be sure to get right on that. ;)

Lol 3 different screenplays, zero actual novels

Did this include the Brad Pitt one?

Theoretically? Rights never changed on that thing so mostly it was assorted studio flacks whacking at it until money flowed.

And then it test marketed terribly so they reshot 40% of it.

It was a clusterfuck.

Done!, though without the shoutouts...

I have, loved every page and every minute of the audiobook.

I have probably bought that book 6-7 times now and keep giving it away

Nice, my IRL book club has been working on that, and it surprisingly apt with it's handling of how a worldwide pandemic unfolds.

Max Brooks knows his stuff. Or rather, he knew how to gather good info on how things work.
