Colbert reaches a decent level of terrorism, here. Maybe orange alert or so. Antifa, of course. It's terrorism to be anti-fascist, which, all of the peaceful demonstrators are, the ones who don't exist [see: paragraph #2]. Hey, we won't even count their votes! Eliminate terrorist votes, and Trump gets literally NOT ONE vote against him!! America is 40% of America!
Obviously, I can never defend Trump, but most media outlets are getting something wrong: Trump did drop George Floyd's name in the context of some bullshit boilerplate 20-second teleprompter reading about mumblemumble racial justice, crammed thoughtlessly into some random corner of a 30+ minute speech that I can't be bothered to watch. I randomly sampled quite a bit of it, and it seems to be perhaps entirely campaign bullshit. Trump can't contain his glee at the good jobs report, which (naturally!) doesn't include good news for black americans, who stayed just about equally unemployed between April and May (if you believe the stats).
...Do presidents usually line up their most loyal defenders behind them like some form of media exposure bribery / show of support?
