What did you buy? Deets, man

I bought this Gretsch. I just think it’s gorgeous. Green! I hope it plays well. Had some good reviews.

Fuck yeah. I have a gretsch semi-hollow, as well (but with no bigsby). I love it, and you will too. Been kicking around buying a strat recently, too, but I'm just searching for the time to do it where my wife won't give my any shit for making a frivolous purchase, a delicate balance.

I hear you. I’m really hoping I’m the one that answers the door when it arrives and not my wife :)

Have you ever considered a Jazzmaster? It’s my favorite guitar I own.

You know, I'm sure there are a lot of guitars I'd love, but a black American standard strat, maple fretboard, black pickguard, is what I covet, and I know I'd be disappointed with anything else. The heart wants what the heart wants, logic be damned.

100% get that. I need a Black rickenbacker but that’s calls for a different economic situation. Some day.

The Beatles one, I presume?

Did you buy from Sweetwater? They seem to have good prices, but I've never made a purchase like that online. Update about the experience one the Gretsch shows up.

Def the Beatles one. I’ll let you know how it goes. Good to hear from you, my best to you and yours.

Likewise. Hopefully you can enjoy some time with your family for a few weeks until it's safe to travel again--silver lining at least

100%. It’s been nice to spend some quality time with the kids. So much happening, even without this pandemic. It’s nice to focus on the family. But truth is I’ve still never been busier professionally.
