so i decided to make naan, or try to - the bread experiment of the other day has confirmed that my yeast is basically dead, so all these suckers are gonna turn out not-right, but i decided that test runs are test runs for a reason so
i wrapped the boy and
slapped together a baller marinade - there's chicken hiding under there, if you can see
2 hours later
1.25 hours later, i make-a the curry i appropriate-a the culture hooaoaoaoaaaa - the red is my chicken bowl from earlier + some tomatoes and potatoes, the white is one with chickpeas and coconut milk for my (vegetarian) mum
the naan turned out dorky in shape and texture - the lack of living yeast made them more like slabs than bubbly-stretchy boys and i think i'm consistently making my doughs not wet enough, but brushed with butter and dipped in THIS
i felt pretty good about myself
