It seemed like there were rumblings of this a couple weeks ago, so not super surprising. Some of it because a lot of events (particularly on the west coast) are getting cancelled. But E3 has been having a tough time maintaining its relevance of late as well. As I recall, most if not all the main console makers had already said they weren't going. And truth be told, it's hard to beat Devolver Digital's not-E3 conferences.
