Other than tethering with a laptop for 1080p or better resolution streaming data, at which point you should perhaps re-evaluate your life's course, I'm not sure what the argument is for 5G either. It doesn't really matter if I'm browsing webpages on my Google Fiber (flex) or 4G, the bottleneck is always in the shittons of ad trackers embedded in the content I'm trying to consume. Firefox Focus and other mobile device browsers get around this, but the point is that even if I try to livestream something, FaceTime, etc., it's fine on 4G more than 99% of the time.

The idea that we could be living in a golden age of weather forecasting is upsetting, and unacceptable.

1080p or better resolution streaming data,

Ohhh, padewan.

4G will do 60MBPS. 60Hz 4K is 17.

By the way, if you want a 40 percent boost in your practical network speeds you should install a pi hole. I run two of them, principally because I don't want any of my employees and visitors accidentally installing malware on my network.
