"LATE NIGHT RUDY CALL" got a li'l lol outta me.
- Nunes in particular has sought to undermine the investigation by alleging that Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), the Intelligence Committee chairman, had coordinated or otherwise communicated with an intelligence community whistleblower who initially raised concerns about Trump’s apparent efforts to pressure Ukraine into investigating his political foes. But the phone records contained in the committee’s report show that Nunes himself had engaged in his own behind-the-scenes communications with the very people at issue in the whistleblower complaint. Nunes never revealed those communications during the weeks of committee testimony. The congressman has discussed the possibility of suing news outlets, including The Daily Beast, for reporting on his private handling of matters related to Trump’s actions in Ukraine.
Yup. Devin's not shutting up, he's putting up. Surely the Daily Beast and CNN are just libtard trash, conspiring agai-... uh oh, wait. Now Nunes will need to take on the Wall Street Journal, who have further slandered Nunes with their reporting on factual documentation. I literally cannot believe that the Deep State infiltrated WSJ! The libs have started the civil war, then. That's what all this means. Time to get muh guns.
But seriously, this shit is bananas. Who knows what'll come out by Christmas? The Senate could wind up trying to snuff out an even bigger inferno than the current dumpsterbonfire. Apart from Parnas spilling some pretty cool beans, there's Trump's tax returns, his bank records, another whistleblower complaint about either Trump or Pence attempting to alter their own IRS record (uhh, I think maybe it's Trump?), and yet another strange delay of military assistance to a country in the middle east. It's gonna be interesting to see whether McConnell and Trump's packed SCOTUS rules in favor of executive immunity, if they agree to hear Trump's cases. Yeah, real interesting, is all. I'm not concerned. Are you concerned? I'm not.
The "he's putting up" link above about Nunes's lawsuit against CNN is more than mildly hilarious:
- “The ulterior purpose of the CNN Article is to advance the impeachment inquiry, to seed doubt in the minds of Americans, and to influence the outcome of the 2020 election,” the lawsuit says.
The suit mocks Cuomo for “having recently threatened to assault a man who referred to him as ‘Fredo,’ who Nunes claims also helped “disseminate the false and defamatory statements at issue in this case as part of a scheme to boost CNN’s ratings and further the House Democrats’ impeachment 'inquiry.'”
Devin wields perfectly appropriate (if not a tad ambitious) defamation lawsuits as platforms to throw very tasteful sucker punches designed to defame CNN anchors who said bad things he didn't like. The multitude of Nunes defamation lawsuits (he made it on Know Your Meme!! hahahha) are financed by farm money, and definitely not anything suspicious.
kleinbl00, I don't even think Fox News will give Nunes a job after this is all over. Hopefully, the primary reason is because he goes to prison.
