This after the Soyuz launch earlier this week sent three new astronauts to the ISS, the first manned launch since the booster failure back in October. This means that the ISS will be manned and they don't have to mothball the station.

Right as the re-entry burn was going, a part fell off the first stage booster. Once the burn was over, everything went sideways. Booster hit the water. First one of these landings in a while that has failed.
