The size of the Supreme Court has varied from 6-12 people, over time. There is no defined number of justices, either max or min.

The next Democratic president and senate could simply sign on 4 new justices that were heavy lefties, and, say, 30 years old, and the entire thing could be changed. Forever.

Then the Repubs win, and make the Supreme Court 30 members strong, and sign on 18 new justices. And with their total abdication of moral code or dignity, all cards are on the table, from now for ever.

I've come to the conclusion that the Republican Party, sensing that demographics were not just limiting their future growth but curtailing their representation within the country, set forth to establish themselves as the ruling minority. After all, if your ideas aren't compelling to a majority of the population you'd best figure out a way to control things as a minority. Fundamentally, they've been working for controlling minority status since '64: "We'll make room for your racism so long as you make room for our tax cuts."

The fundamental modern issue, as I have come to see it, is that globalism/neoliberalism has been perceived as shitty for the bulk of the population worldwide. The globalists/neoliberals have responded to this criticism with "well actually when you account for the political and environmental limits of the-" and the populists have cut them off with "BLAME THE AUSLANDERS." "Blame the auslanders" is a much easier argument to make because it's where people naturally want to go while "trust us, it could be much worse" is a platitude, not an argument.

Bernie Sanders' argument was basically "eat the rich" which is a tried-and-true political slogan with wide appeal. The Democrats, however, act as if the New World Order can come at the cost of the home fires.

Until the Democrats figure out how to make poor people excited to vote for them, they'll constantly face challenges from the "god guns great again" sloganeering of the right.

This is $120m mocking $45m in the name of Joe Six Pack.

Louder for those at the helm of the blue team.

For some reason you (And I, and lots of others) get this, and they don't.

They're rich. They wanna stay rich and they don't wanna feel bad about it.

They grew up in a time of limitless resources so they live like it's a time of limitless resources. But they don't want you limiting their resources.

Their bad guy is Nixon. Al Franken went on Colbert and talked about what great friends he is with Jeff Sessions because their wives swap needlepoints or some shit. They all work out in the same gym, they all eat in the same cafeteria. It's all fuckin' academic to them.

I am 100% about taking away their candy. Sanders got my money, Clinton didn't. But you go to battle with the army you have and right now, our choices are entitled, sociopathic baby boomers or deeply entitled, sociopathic baby boomers.
