That's a nice question - I don't often make myself think about what's been happening. Since 2016 I've gotten off my anti-depressants, met my now partner, living with my partner, halfway paid off my student loan, left one job, started another, gotten permanent employment (was on rolling fixed-terms until two weeks ago), developed some weird balance issue in February that won't bugger off. My nephew was born! Planning a trip to Japan, and also planning on building a house sometime after that. 2 years ago I would have told you I was happy for a change, but 2018 is a massive improvement on that. Welcome back :)
2018 is miles better than 2016. And 2016 was miles better than 2014. And 2014 was miles better than 2012. Life just keeps getting easier year by year.
I have this odd spike in happiness around High School and the first couple of years of University. I absolutely loved school and study, 2013 was a low point but as you say, it's been getting easier and easier since then.
My low point was 2012. Everything since then has been easier. School and studying is wonderful, and I finally have a relationship to it that is less filled with anxiety.
I'm really happy for you! You were one of the first people I followed when I first came to Hubski so it's great seeing you back and kicking ass.
Back and kicking ass is what I want to be for the rest of my life.
