I agree with what you are saying, but might restate this as "there are definitely also too many extremely technically talented artists out there..." It might also be an unfortunate idea that technical talent is a threshold which is achieved close to artistic success. IMO it should be a necessary component, but even as difficult as extreme technical talent is to achieve, it is one that shouldn't be overrated. Like elite athletes, extreme technical talent is the baseline, but success requires yet even more.The issue is that there are definitely also too many extremely talented artists out there, as well as musicians, writers, actors, etc.
