Let's just say my take was very different.

1. Do you like movies whose entire plot conceit is monumentally stupid?

2. On a related note, do you like a movie to treat you like a moron?

3. Do you like movies that somehow manage to make sci-fi horror boring?

4. Do you like movies that find contrived ways to kill people that make no sense?

5. Do you like movies that cannot decide what genre they want to be?

6. Do you like movies that shoehorn themselves into an existing franchise in the last 10 seconds without any other plot connection or purpose?

If you liked Sphere or Event Horizon, go watch those instead.

Hey now. Hey now. I never said it was good. I do agree that it didn't seem to know what kind of movie that it wanted to be and it wasn't necessarily well thought out or paced.
