I really can't pinpoint how I feel about this, but I don't think I like her. I mean yes, the people who were completely asshats to her should apologize but does she think she should apologize ? There's a fine line between understanding and excusing behavior and we don't get to just fall back on our fucked up childhoods to just excuse our behavior. Eventually we need to take responsibility for the people we are and use that understanding to grow. I'm not a fan of grown ups who use the excuse of "well I had it hard so now I get to be like this". Nah you had it hard so now you need therapy. Maybe it's just how the article portrays her but she doesn't seem remorseful.
