You got most of it right. I'd say ерунда is closer to nonsense, not the aggressive bullshit, and хулиган would be closer to punk or bully in this context. Not sure about Дэта, whatever that is. Nice work. What other songs did you listen to? What Russian songs do you like?

Thanks for that! ДДТ are the only other band I can remember. My Russian professor was friends with the band's lead singer, and we got to meet him when he came to my university to play a show. The two songs I really remember of theirs are Это все and Любовь, подумай обо мне. I saw a flash animation once for меня зовут Шнур by Ленинград years ago, but that one uses way too much slang for me to really be able to understand.
