    but in general yes

Then I would also like to ask you: how much do you think the bricks have to fit the specification already established? What about an introverted truth-seeker for a politician? A zookeeper who doesn't like animals?

Those things are possible, of course, but you did use the word 'want.' As something of an introverted truth-seeker myself, I am highly unlikely to seek to become a politician (although I have flirted with the idea of town council before), however, my job demands of me the ability to behave as though I am not the super-introvert that I am and most of my coworkers are incredulous when I reveal that fact about myself to them. I believe it makes me good at what I do, though, because I think about things differently than many of the people I work with.

An unfortunate truth in these times is that many people don't like their jobs, even people who got degrees and just don't like field they chose but stuck with it. You might think that I don't like my job because it demands behavior of me that is unnatural for me, but in truth I chose the position because of the challenge it would pose for me. I am a firm believer that I cannot grow if I don't put myself out there in situations that are outside of my comfort zone. When I first started this job, I was very tentative about things and nervous, and now I am much more confident in myself and in my ability to handle situations, and I continue to learn and grow, so I know I made the right choice over taking a boring position where I just do data entry and busywork all day.

Thank you for saying this. Hearing it reaffirmed is inspiring.

It took me a while to recognize, but that phrase had a positive effect on me ever since I read it.
