This was inevitable, given the atmosphere that the White House has been cultivating since January. I mean, he probably never listened to these folks anyway but it is an important symbolic move, or it would be if symbolic moves mattered. I wonder what PredictIt is betting on these days?
It's interesting that there was not a peep from Johnson & Johnson, Boeing, Whirlpool, Honeywell, GE, and other big name, old school, US manufacturing firms. I mean, if Boeing dropped out, what other major American airliner manufacturer were they going to replace them with? ... Bueller? .... Bueller? ... So now Trump is operating in his closed little bubble again, without outside influence. I can't believe this is going to improve things, but it is the best business decision for those who tapped out. Does this really end with Trump walking out of the White House completely naked, raving about his gorgeous clothes, because there are so few people left, and nobody will contradict him...?
