It reminds me of the story John Kasich told about how Donald Trump Jr. contacted him and offered him the vice presidency in exchange for dropping out and supporting Trump. Supposedly Trump Jr. said that Kasich would actually run things with Trump being very hands-off, and that Trump would focus on "making America great again". Kasich says that he turned this offer down and went public with it. Trump and Trump Jr. deny all of this. Personally I trust the integrity of John Kasich's word waaaaay more than Trump or Trump Jr.
