I think yoga pairs well with cardio (though I don't do it enough). The stretching and flexibility seems to help.

Yes, it does, but I think results of Yoga are gradual. Cardio, for me shows quick results, once I reduce some weight, will go for yoga, as it will be easier to practice it then..

PS: Yoga in our culture and true meaning, is beyond mere exercise,being a technique of controlling body and mind, it symbolizes efforts to free oneself from bonds of our body and nature.
