I hate the headline, I'm sorry.
Worth keeping in mind: this guy's got his eyes on the prize. He'll be gunning for prez soon, no doubt.
My comment from another forum: Calling out racism is not divisive. Racism is.That's great, and all this "let's work together" sunshine and rainbows sounds real nice, but here's the thing: what Sen Warren said on the Senate floor was not divisive, incendiary rhetoric. It was factual, reasoned critique in service of a debate about Trump's pick for AG.
Yeah cry me a river Rubio. The problem is that we can't have a debate because one party has decided that data and facts no longer matter. Policy debates should be rooted in both philosophy and empiricism, but the Republican party flatly rejects empiricism, and their philosophy is degrading more and more by the year. It's a misdirection to make anti-Trumpism about two sides not debating. Rubio probably hates that fucker too, but we can't take him seriously so long as he supports his whole agenda. Fuck him.
Re: the headline, I think that the bezos era of the post has been horrible for their headlines. They still have good investigative journalism and OpEd pieces, but they've gone all in an Huffington Post style click bait headlines. It's shameful and it makes me not want to read them.
