I've done this. I've unsubscribed from all the major subs on reddit, particularly the news subs. I don't have a Facebook account. I blocked all the tags you suggested from Hubski from months before the election.

I'm still inundated with articles and discussions about Trump, mostly in sarcastic, vitriolic and hateful tones. Several people I follow here have decided to make Trump the major focus of many discussions. I'm wondering if I unfollow them if I'd have anything left to read.

I understand the OP's frustration. It has gotten really hard to filter out all the noise without feeling like you're living in a cave and not having access to news that might affect you.
