Assuming this also takes the place of new years resolutions, whatever those are.

Last year I had heard about and took on a different sort of resolution from the artist I interned for (for anyone into 'adult coloring books,' here's a shameless plug). That is, instead of resolutions or goals, create a theme for the year with one word. This word is what you'll focus on or keep in your thoughts as an ideal to strive for (usually positive), whether that be perseverance, hope, align, or some other. Mine for 2016 was connection. Connection in terms of reaching out renewing waning or old friendships since I tend to let many 'irl' friendships fall by the wayside.

Going with the theme of the thread, I'll mix the two sorts of 'goals'. 2017 is going to have the same word or theme of 'Connection' since it's something I want to refine:

- Rekindle and maintain my physicality via a weekly intramural sport starting this semester.

- Regain part-time employment to enable self-transit.

   - Self-transit takes away the excuse for avoiding going to social events and such.

- Part-time employment will be the route to get that sick erg in my room.

- Revisit Israel while I can with Taglit. Been neglecting a lot of Jewish connections. I think heading back may be a good reminder.

- Date. Really. Without the passive use of apps in vain hopes.

- Continue eating healthier via learning more recipes (just learned some yesterday!)

- Read the books on my shelves.

- Finally, responsiveness. A tendency to read, take in, and think about information without outputting a response is a circuit I want to close. Includes being more active here.
