Well, you have a 5hr flight standing between you and the East Coast, I have a 3,5hr train ride with no TSA, plenty of legroom and wifi. But I agree - it's worth it, I just needed to get myself to actually arrange weekends off so I can just go and party. I hadn't seen a bunch of those friends for over a year so I worried a bit to what degree the friendships had disintegrated. To my surprise I had a great time and felt just as valued as a friend now as 18 months ago. Maybe it just felt like a long time...
