When you look at the gestalt and nothing else you can be confused. But you shouldn't do that. Donald Trump is going to kill Obamacare. Healthcare stocks are way up. Donald Trump is going to cut taxes aggressively. Banks are way up. Donald Trump is a luddite who hates technology and the west coast. Tech stocks are being pounded. Donald Trump is an isolationist. International trading partners of the US are gutted. The short term action is all being driven by people taking Trump at face value. The longer-term investors are all taking a wait and see approach... but all those guys with retirement funds who voted him in? They're buying his principles.
It's all predicating on his principle assessment of the strength of our economy, and the value of the dollar. The strength of the dollar is not based on the strength of the global marketplace. The principle value of money is not based on a central governing body. I am somewhat of a goldbug, and it has nothing to do with being uneducated. Quite the contrary
I know personally a number of people who are now facing an identity crisis - brought on by their emotionally driven investment practices in the last week. They were so sucked into the political race and their point of view, they wouldn't even consider the chance that they were taken advantage of by a power hungry think tank. This was nearly impossible to argue with the candidates running for president - and their exposure was not even considered - my audience was completely written off. If you knew me in real life you would know I am written off by almost everyone in open discussions concerning such a topic Their loss is real, and the bubble rebuilds. It is a sick cycle of history, that is repeated over-and-over...faster-and-faster... since the advent of the internet This is going to only get worse before it ges better - think tank bubbles
There are people who know what's going on....but they're lizards. It hurt being labelled and ridiculed these past few months. A lot. I called this. I know how Michael Burray feels. I never wanted to be right, I just wanted to convey a message. Furthermore, I was voicing a very honest vocal minority in the financial markets. I told people not to get involved with the equity markets as a long-term investment strategy. Wanna guess at how many people looked at me like a lunatic? Everyone wants to eat the hostess cupcake still, but no one wants to own the side-effects anymore. I'm in a weird position through this. I have every legitimate label, and condition to overwhelmingly support the status quo. But I do not. I'm not going to be profiting immensely unlike individuals I know who called what is happening in the world right now. For the record, they didn't call this election in any way whatsoever. But they're lizard people, and do not have "real" arguments. Therefore, they aren't recognized. I'm sorry for offending or inciting anger in any of you. If you understood the pain I felt being told to get back in medication, and to seek help for having an opinion, you would all shut the fuck up.
