You know "what is the eu?" is not a crazy question to be asking as a British citizen. Britain got to do a lot of picking and choosing (other countries did to but not as much). So being in the EU for Britain may mean something different than being in the EU as France. The source is Biased but Table 3 on pg 6 is really kind of interesting. I agree. But one would hope people would try to figure that out before voting, not after. Maybe we're reading this all wrong and the source of the searches is people who are too young to vote trying to figure out what is going on. Honestly I don't have that much faith in humanity though.
