Funnily enough the show is all I care about now. I don't think GRRM is going to finish the books before he dies, and so I've given up on them. And that's totally his call, I don't feel owed or anything. But again, I'm expecting the TV series to finish out the major plot points (at this point they're already ahead of the books), and there'll be little incentive to go back and read them for me.
