"mature" and "intelligent" would probably be the words I would use to describe how people here prefer to talk about politics. With a pinch of passive aggression but not the angst phase kind.

I love that. See I believe you learn more from people you don't agree with, but so many people mud sling instead of debating. Balanced modest contention is best. Reddit and Voat are far too extreme of either end.
