The article talks about sherpas not having the same drive to reach the summit, in conflict with Jon Krakauer's book. Jon talks about sherpas having a push to reach the summit for two reasons. One they share with the expeditions that hire them: a genuine desire to reach the earth's highest point, summit fever. The other is more practical: a climbing sherpa that has reached the summit is more valuable and will get higher pay on future expeditions.

I believe Green Boots is thought to be Indian Tsewang Paljor or his fellow team member Dorje Morup. I think sherpas are Nepalese.
