Transparency I'd be willing to wager that not that many people really care about the level of transparency that Bitcoin brings to the table. Why would I care about what other people are buying, or how much money they have? Cost Effective For Daily Expenditures That would work well, if more places actually used Bitcoin. No Preferential Treatment Not really important to most people. Simple Global Use Pretty much every service already converts money from one currency to another, and are pretty efficient and reliable. If the person you're buying from uses bitcoin. You Decide Your Fees Almost never. I've sent money to other people through my bank before, it was free and instant (granted, it was through the same bank). Also, I did it online, and I can do it at any time. Shared Accounts & Trust Building Or just don't share an account with people you don't trust? Really, Bitcoin is a pretty cool idea, but everyone's already ingrained into the current system. Why should someone take the time out of their day to take all of their money out of banks and put it into some system that they would get a very small benefit from? Also, why should they convert their money into a currency that they can only use in a few places? Well, some people share business accounts for one. Others have children who do wild things. I can think of endless circumstances, they ay or may not apply to your life directly, but there is definitely a whole bunch of realistic cases where it is handy to share a wallet requiring multiple signatures to build trust. Because the number of companies adopting bitcoin went from 16,000 a quarter to 2,000 a quarter in a year? Because people don't want a currency that's worth $600, then $200 less than 6 months later? Because it's kind of pointless to use a currency that's going to get converted anyways?
