Are we trying to vilify her for changing her mind? Are we celebrating her for changing her mind? Or are we just pointing fingers and laughing at her?

I just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing here.

Raking her over the coals on this isn't about vilifying her. Obama changed his mind. I'm really liberal, I think Obama is kinda good at his job and I wouldn't be pissed if Hilary won the nomination or election. Obama entered the national game as a bit of an unknown and a lot of us who supported him in '08 saw a potential in him to shake things up because he didn't have much of a track record and we didn't know what he'd do. That didn't happen so much and he seems content to kill foreigners with flying gun robots for whatever reason.

I don't really have anything against her but this video shows she is very willing to play the game of politics where towing the line is preferable until it becomes clear that saying something slightly controversial won't torpedo your career. I'm pretty sure thenewgreen is criticizing her from the left.

A large(ish) segment of liberals want some drastic change in a way that Hilary and Obama don't represent. Enter the Bern. Also, I donated to Mike Gravel in '08 but I don't think anyone who didn't give him money remembers him. I don't know why supporting a spectacular failure is a point of pride for me but it is so I'm mentioning it.

-I think this is pretty emblematic of her. I'm not a fan. If she gets the nomination, I will likely vote for her, but it will only be because whomever the right puts up will be worse. She has always struck me as disingenuous and opportunistic. You know how you can get a gut feeling about someone? Well, my gut tells me that she's not to be trusted.

She's obviously full of shit on this but the political environment is such that pointing that out is like an attack ad instead of saying "I want to back someone who isn't a spineless turd about something I care about." She's not awful, I'd just prefer someone with conviction if given the choice.

Do you think she changed her mind, or is it just a change in the winds of polling data? Is she the kind of person that will honor a campaign promise or the kind of person that views retoric as a useful tool to get what she wants. Opportunist politician is opportunistic is what I'm getting out of this.

Gawker actually did a pretty good job summarizing how lame this is.

They didn't reference it, but there is also an interview she did with Chris Mathews where she was asked point blank whether same sex marriage should be allowed in NY and she immediately says, "no," and gets rightfully booed by the audience.

Take a look at her twitter page, you'd think she was best buds with Harvey Milk back in the day.

I think all things could potentially be done. But if you are asking me my opinion, I'll just say that I almost tagged this #opportunist

That said, my guess is that you would be hard pressed to find otherwise in DC.
