o_0 It's one thing to realize gender isn't binary, scientifically. But what do you do, when you've lived half your life and find out 'Oh, by the way, you're biologically like half male?'Halfway through her fifth decade and pregnant with her third child, the woman learned for the first time that a large part of her body was chromosomally male
Not much else to do but keep on living it, I guess. EDIT: I think this sounds flippant, but I do mean it. If she doesn't experience gender dysphoria and everyone around her considers her a woman, what else is there to do but keep going as before?
I suspect how difficult that is depends on how entrenched you are in gender-binary culture. On the other hand, those most entrenched in gender binarism are probably the same people who don't highly value science. Or, you could make fun of your husband for being gay? Start campaigning for half-gay marriage? Buy some snails and start referring to them as "my people."
