And if you can get 15-20 of your friends to go along, the price comes down to what you pay a domestic carrier.
Had a gig where a client basically bullied me into chartering a jet to get a hard drive from Seattle to Dallas to be there by 7am the next day. Fortunately for all concerned, none of the charter companies were interested in playing... but I did learn that the "meter drop" on a charter jet is about $5500.
