thundara, ButterflyEffect, Janabutts, vjoriqor, as the ambassadors for chip tunes on Hubski, I thought you ought to check out this tune, I dug it. ButterflyEffect, I know Dadstache put out some chip tunes, are you still making music this way? Such an odd genre that I'm just getting in to, so thanks for the posts. I wouldn't even know where to begin composing a "chip tune"

Also, I checked your account and I was wondering if you're a vegetarian. Well, I've been a vegetarian, recently turned vegan, for a long time. :)

Hey, thanks for the comment, you've got it down! I dug what I heard, it's a foreign genre to me, outside of what ButterflyEffect and a few others have introduced me to. I am a musician too so I'm always interested in new sounds etc.

Per your other comment, as of about 5 days ago, I'm a pescatarian. Maybe I'll go full veggie soon. I look forward to hearing more of your music, feel free to join in the #hubskioriginalmusicclub, if you have any questions about the site, let me know. Also, feel free to post anything -not just music. See ya around and welcome!!

I'm not currently doing anything chiptune related. After losing an album worth of material that I thought was good I lost a lot of interest in it...eventually going to get into Ableton once I move and get situated and have some extra cash to buy equipment.

eightbitsamurai is spot on with everything he said, though I want to add one other artist that is more important, but less well known to the general public: Bit Shifter. If you ever want to know technical information on making chiptune music feel free to send me a message.

Edit: I have been thinking of making some more chip music, I have a bunch of ideas and it's enticing to grab a different and more powerful emulator and see what comes of it.

Bruh, you gotta experience the big guns first: Anamanaguchi.

The original method of composing a chip-tune involves opening up a videogame console and using its sound-chip to compose the track. I believe Anamana uses a gameboy and an NES, then overlay their guitars and drums and stuff.

Top guys. Saw them in concert here in CO, it was bomb. vjoriqor was there. We got t-shirts.

Oh, and I got your stickers, Green. They're big. Gotta figure out where to put 'em.
