Interesting concept; I think it could be better executed. This essay seems largely translated word-for-word, so that many parts are only comprehensible when you translate it back (e.g. I wouldn't know what was meant by "work" in "stuff and work" if it weren't obviously a thesaurus-translation of "matter and energy"). A word for word translation is necessarily unnatural-sounding because different words fit together differently.

I think it succeeds in showing how dependent the language as we know it today is on words of non-germanic origin.

You might take a look at Anglish, a more honest attempt to construct an English that is pure.
