I was just listening to Grow Up and New Kind of Me from the second TNG album.
You guys rule. This made my day, thanks for listening.
Good tunes, good vibe. I do however have a question about Oh My God, I don't see where you're coming from with that one... I mean I get the church bit, but the other part of it, bulimia that is. Where did that come from? Was that someone you know or was it just something you thought up? (Yay for pestering with questions) lol
Glad you dig the songs, the answer to that question stays with me though :)
I bought a new receiver this week to go with a turn table I got for Christmas. Now I just need some new speakers and my setup will be complete! I sent my old turntable to a friend via mail and with it two records to start his collection. The first record: The second record: He is a teacher so he has the summer off. I also sent him a book: One Hundred Years of Solitude and some Hubski stickers. All in all, a pretty damn good summer time wasting package if you ask me....
That is a prime choice of records, VU especially. Btw, if you've got any that you want to get rid of/ sell let me know, I'm buying my first first turntable mid-July once I've saved enough from work and I want to start it off with a great collection.
The Chainsmokers vs. Tove Lo - "Habits (Extended Mix)" I literally cannot get enough of this song / mix. I probably listened to it 5 or 6 times in a row when I was finishing my 5th day of coding until 4am. Daughn Gibson - "Lookin' Back On '99" Kinda reminds me of The Walker Brothers - The Electrician which I posted last week. The band my roommate works for is doing a cover EP so I've been listening to one of those songs over and over again as it gets mixed, vocals, etc. I've really taken a liking to it. I'll post it when it's released. It's a bit ridiculous, but pretty awesome.
Some of it's similar stuff to what I've posted in recent threads really, but different stages of the artists' development. Now that I'm focusing on my piano playing, I'll probably be listening to a lot of Bill Evans.
Been listening to some Carpenter Brut ever since I saw the Hotline Miami 2 trailer. Good stuff.
I've really been getting into Looking Glass this past week, to the point where I think this album and song are two of the most underrated pieces of music from the classic rock era. Also listened to Bleed American from beginning to end yesterday on the drive back. Great CD, I bought it like 12 years ago or something like that.
She is regressive and may have invented twerking But can't stop giggling for the whole song.
Ohhhh damn. La Luzzz!!! La Luz - Sure As Spring: Just do yourself a favor.. Also this is me..
