I saw this prior to the show and my expectation was that it would be like this, and it was for a bit at the end but the majority of the show was loud, rocking, high energy awesomeness... And I was glad for it. We had seen Andrew Bird the previous week at the same venue and it was a chill show. I was ready for some distortion and I got some. I loved it. Great band.
Andrew Bird is off the hook, my favorite producer has a sublime remix of Imitosis. Also I'm pleasantly surprised that Band of Horses' shows are lively. Where the hell are you catching all these awesome concerts?
This venue is 2 miles from my house. I'd see even more shows if I didn't have two small kids. scrimetime, you and the missus should look at their website and check for future shows you'd like to go to. It's a badass venue.
