They're saying "Here's how we did things. If you think you can implement these designs (or build on them) in a better or cheaper way, get on it." So no enforcement of patents, correct. Musk is kinda humping the legs of the automotive industry in a show of dominance. Hump onwards, I say... he's earned it.
