Apologies for using a 'click bait' title, but I felt like I had to get this out. This is probably one of the most important things about driverless cars. Now that it's functional, let's say that five years down the road there are driverless semi-trucks, pizza delivery, taxis. I'm sure someone has already done an economic analysis of how many people hold those jobs, but I'm assuming it's a lot of grumpy men.
If you put a lot of grumpy men out of work all at once, people will likely revolt.
