Care to explain this gatekeeping? It's pretty typical of activists and revolutionaries throughout history. In the ancient world all revolutionary movements had a single program: “Cancel the debts and redistribute the land.”

Don't know what you mean about gatekeeping but yeah there are real activists who try to make societal changes and then there are the Youtube nuts who do stupid things on Youtube.

We have to lose our fear, our fear of being thought of as criminals because we’re poor.

Well ... surprise ... you are a criminal now. And your nickname is French Fry?

I don't pretend to know much about the state of higher education in Chile, although Chile's in better shape than a lot of South American countries, but I remain pretty skeptical of the Independent in general. So.

EDIT: oh you meant probably gatekeeping as in who gets to be an activist. I get it now. The answer is people who aren't named French Fry.

EDIT3: I apologize you may not get a more relevant answer. I have been reading the Great Shark Hunt and drinking whiskey.
