I didn't recommend Flash Boys because it hadn't come out yet. But I'll be reading it in May. Did you see the New York Times excerpt?

As far as East of Eden, I have nothing to say that hasn't been said elsewhere. I have a great respect for any author who can weave symbolism and allegory into a narrative and not run off the rails entirely.

Don't have to. I've read like five of his books and they're all awesome. he's pretty much an instant sell for me.

And I've got wiring to do today. Wiring plus audiobook = zen.

Let me know that PKD you end up reading. I've read a good deal of his work and I'm in the middle of book one of the VALIS trilogy right now.

I started Flash Boys first so it may be a while, but definitely. I've already read a couple of his books and a handful of his short stories.
